  • Comply with all relevant legislation, local government regulations and guidance.

  • Meet the environmental standards and specifications directed by our clients.

  • Undertake their work with the minimum of disruption and disturbance to their clients, their neighbours and the environment

  • Use, where possible, chemicals and materials with a reduced impact on the environment

  • Effectively control the use of such substances, preventing spillages into the atmosphere, land and water courses

  • Have effective emergency procedures in place for cleaning up spillages of potentially hazardous materials and chemicals

  • Remove general waste and hazardous waste in accordance with the legal Duty of Care and Hazardous Waste Regulations

  • Prevent any unnecessary atmospheric polluting activity, discharge of polluting substances into drains and water courses and prevent the deliberate discharge of polluting substances or waste into the ground

  • Recycle waste whenever possible and safely return to the environment and recoverable value from it

  • Comply with orders and legislation relating to the conservation and the preservation of wildlife

  • Prevent general nuisance by avoiding activities which create unnecessary levels of noise, excessive emissions of fumes, generation of litter and any activities likely to cause nuisance
